The tunnel is also quick and easy. Joining the excellent French motorway network is very straightforward, whichever crossing you take. It will take approx 10.5 hours driving to reach us.
This is where we are on google maps - our coordinates are 44.509440 and 0.386037. The nearest town is St Barthélemy d’Agenais or Labretonie.
The two nearest airports are Bergerac and Bordeaux, about an hour and a quarter/an hour and half respectively from our gite. Both Easyjet and Ryan Air fly to Bergerac and Bordeaux from airports including Stanstead, Bristol, Luton, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Liverpool and Gatwick.
Please note that a local family company can offer to drive you and your family to and from the airport for 45 euros each way (2015 prices). This is considerably cheaper than hiring a taxi.
Our Gite is South East of the village of St Bartholémy-d'Agenais
